Sentinel Provides Benefits For Its Employees

Sentinel Benefits offers software training to its employees to bring their skills to the next level in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Office and Crystal Reports. As a benefits company, Sentinel knows computer training is an investment that increases productivity and retention of qualified employees. Rebecca LeBlanc of Sentinel says the training brings new users up to speed on basic skills and advances experienced users to the next plateau. The training serves as a way of creating internal experts, fostering a work environment of collaboration and cooperation.

Building on a three-year relationship, SOFTEACH works with Sentinel to create customized agendas and offers a flexible schedule of classes, one or two groups per day. Each class is designed to include feedback from the previous classes, as well as the specific needs of the group. The instructor, Darlene, is very responsive to questions and on-the-spot concerns that arise. According to Rebecca, there has “never been a question that the instructor couldn’t answer.” Rebecca also commented, “Everybody loves the trainings. They learn a lot and end up with a tip or trick they use in their daily work.” Sentinel continually increases productivity through customized computer training.

Thielsch Saves Time and Money with Customized Training

The IT team at Thielsch Engineering, Inc., which supports 200 end-users, needed to get up to speed on SQL and Active Directory quickly due to deadlines.  Peter Ferreira contacted Softeach and expressed his concern that they didn’t have a lot of time for training.  By offering customized, on-site training, Softeach was able to bring the class right to them, with targeted material.  The instructor specifically addressed Thielsch's needs, using its layout and working through specific technical issues.  They were impressed with the quality of training and efficiency, as it saved them time and money.  As Ferreira said, "What would have taken two days with anyone else, Softeach was able to do in one day."
